Love is gone!

It was last week that I saw two movies back to back. Kites & Awake.
Awake is adapted by a real incident & Kites for me was a total bollywood larger than life impractical creation. What was common was the love story bit. Both the films had a handsome hero madly in love with the gorgeous heroine but there was no happy ending.
For me movies aren’t always restricted to entertainment, they also have a sufficient supplement of the happenings in the society. So does that mean unlike the past years the concept of happy ending has not only faded from the reel world but also from the real one?? I somewhat second that.
Being absolutely free since past few weeks, I have been watching more of T.V. from soaps, sitcoms, songs to news discovery & lifestyle + reading newspapers + Blogs. And to my surprise I can just see unhappiness all over. Accidents, robbery, murder, suicides. There are high rated reality shows based on love betrayals. Life is no more complicated. It’s simpler & lucid for everything is for a purpose leading to a common goal of MONEY. And that is what is reflected in these movies as well.
So where is the LOVE? A recent study declared that this year has witnessed the highest number of break ups & the most unsuccessful marriages, increasing number of extra marital affairs. Silly break ups through texts, social networking sites etc. So now let’s say instead of “Love is Blind” its “Love is Kind” which switches in seconds and the best part is with no guilt factor. People consider it as a part & parcel of life & move on.

On enquiring about a cousin’s friend, he said she is FFB. Now that’s a new term!! It’s Friends For Benefit, who have no objection in being physical with you & simultaneously being your buddy. How pretentious one can be!

Till when will things move on like this? And till where? Where is it leading to? The existing race is leading to a dead end. The casualness is not something that escorts to a better climax either. Love, life, career, sex the whole lot has speeded up to such an extent where there is no looking back.
Such is life & we still love it more than anything else.

i learnt in school..energy cn nevr be created nor b destroyed,it keeps trqnsforming froj one state to another...i related it to love..for love to happen one hs to let it happen..let it b transformed.. Once it happens..once der is dat eureka moment..one hs to tk d effort to save it..love is d only emotion..rest everyhing else we experience is jst a transformed form of love..as life is to exist, love is experienced when expressed.expression needs a medium.Relationship is dat medium. The outcome is always happiness in others eye..der is a reason v say I love u & not U love me. Love is always in u. Unforunately the sensitivity to experience it is gone.

Sunshine:)

How old are you? 22..I am sorry but it is a little too young to have such a backfiring view on things like love. I mean common sure we all have our heartbreaks and we all have our "why me" times but its silly to gauge the suit based on one loose thread.

Let me indulge the questions you raised : -

1. Bollywood - you know i have a lot of friends around the world who find all the dancing and the drama quite entertaining. They say that is movies should be like. It doesnt have to always have a heavy message crypted so you can mull over it for days. Its entertainment. And especally BOLLYWOOD.. Dont over-analyze things that dont deserve a second thought. I havent seen the two movies you mentioned but once I do i'm sure my comments would be more substantiated.

SOURCES OF JOURNALISM - Would you read a story about this bloke who comes to the park infront of my house EVERYDAY for half an hour just to brush his dog. And you say love doesnt exist. Even when just us girls go out for a spin how many times do we talk about "aww! they are so happy together'..but if someones been thrown out of his job we will dwell on it for hours..Its a human thing - anything out of the ordinary makes news. By that theory the ordinary thing would be - happiness:))

Last STATISTICS and RESEARCHES:- Baby being very very deep in the field I can tell you one thing. You can make anything happen on paper.. for instance what u quoted - highest rates of fights and blah blah blah...go back to the ACTUAL research paper and see they MUST NOT have considered the percentage of population growth..I can bet my life on that..

life is wonderful dont form judgement based on one bad or depressing day..So there you my muffin do you see the other side of the picture??:))
PS: - i dont know how to do this whole blog thingie.. but its me Arosha..hehe

In this transient world the only constant is change and that's the beauty of life. You can see a different expression or form of love b/w mother, father, son, daughter, friend, lovers but the very essence of any such relationship lies in your self realization. So on a cursory look everything appears not very hunky dory but deep down, people still hold human values close to their heart. one example could be that in today's fast paced life not many people doesn't have the luxury to spend hours writing letters and winding up time doing sweet nothings. In a nutshell, we are loosing our patience to see, listen, smell, feel & taste life.
but as they say change is the beauty of life.... so enjoy !
